Rick Steves’ Ireland 2008 (Rick Steves) This book is a great traveling companion for any holiday maker in Ireland. It goes into detail not only about the more frequently visited sights, but also the lesser known ones. What I really like about this book is that it is loaded with suggested day plans, walking tours and trip itineraries, getting rid of the hastle of planning these yourself. The fact that it is printed in 2008 is a big plus, as the content of this type of book becomes dated rather quickly. A must buy for anyone traveling to Ireland. |

The Traveler’s Guide to Sacred Ireland: A Guide to the Sacred Places of Ireland, Her Legends, Folklore and People This book explores the sacred sites of the pre-Christian Irish. I would not buy this unless you are interested in the subject matter. Pagans will definitely enjoy this book. |

Ireland: A Photographic Tour This picture tour is the next best thing to actually being there. In it is depicted the rural countryside, historical landmarks, grand vistas and great architectural works of Ireland all in high definition pictures. |
